If your company is trading company or manufacturing company, you might be involved in the activity of import or export of your products or raw material. The first thing you should do is get your company registered with Thai customs office.
You need to apply for import export customs paperless license. Through this import export license your company will be registered with Thailand’s customs database and you can carry out your transaction under you company name for the import or export purposes.

- Copy of business affidavit, it must update within six months
- Application form
- 2 copies of VAT certificate
- Copy of seal registration
- Bank account certification letter from bank if your corporate account is current account OR copy of bank book duly signed by director if corporate account is saving account. only first 2 pages.
- Copy of passport with valid visa
- Power of attorney.
Authorized director will have to show original passport at customs office for the verification.
Requirement of the Additional License
Paperless import export license or Customs card only ensure your customs registration for which you company can to import or export under company name. However, when importing the goods or products you have to be careful about local law as well. Depending on your product type, it might be compulsion for you to apply for additional license. For example, importing of food product, medical devices are also governed by Thai Food and Drugs Administration, Industrial product may be subject to TISI license, importing of alcohol and tobacco are subject to license from excise department.
