In case you are changing your company’s registered address the application of change has to be filed in each and every government agency that your company has been registered with. If the company is registered in VAT then first change of address has to be filed with revenue department and subsequently with department of Business development, social fund, work permit and other department under which the company holds a license. Change of address has to be informed to the bank as well where company carry out its corporate financial transactions.
There are two scenarios of change of address
- Change within province
Change of address within same province can be either within same district office or different. The application of change of address can be filed directly without newspaper announcement and call for meeting of meeting.
- Change in different province
Legal procedure to follow to effect the change of address from one province to another is same. But the company has to comply with an additional legal requirement which is publishing newspaper announcement in local newspaper announcement and calling for shareholder meeting. The resolution is passed by shareholder meeting for inter provincial change of address of the company. The newspaper announcement has to be made at least 14 days before the date of proposed meeting.
